Assistant Merchandise Planning Director to join us.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

The incumbent is responsible for developing and managing merchandise planning for the various brands based on the business objectives as well as offering on analysis, reporting and inventory monitoring.

1. Business Plans and Financial Performance

• Partner with the Managing Director to develop annual and seasonal merchandise plans for various selling channels.
• Plan and implement inventory strategies and monitor progress to ensure meeting the required targets.
• Identifies slow and best sellers in inventories and response to maximizing sales and minimizing risks.
• Plan OTB and budget and closely monitor the buying and allocation.

2. Business Development

• Identify and evaluate sales and gross margin opportunities
• Review relevant business reports to measure planning effectiveness and as a basis for future season planning.
• Partner closely with buying team and sales & operations team on sales performance and stock level to maximize sales opportunities.

3. Market Intelligence

• Maintain an active awareness of competitor activities. Recommend and implement appropriate action plans where appropriate.
• Collect customers’ needs and expectations, translate the information into action plans to drive business results.

YOU NEED TO BE...

• Degree holder or above major in Fashion, Marketing, Textile, or other related disciplines 
• At least 10 years of merchandising and sales planning experience, preferably in the luxury fashion industry 
• Mastery in inventory management, as well as experience in managing sales promotions
• Meticulous, able to demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills with high degree of accuracy
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and presentations skills, especially on financial information and business strategies
